RIBBONS ON MY GUITAR (2021)

The idea of ​​the documentary is based on the historical course of the music culture of Zakynthos. The documentary will travel through time. From the time when the musicians of the island holding their guitars in hand, wandered around the cantonments singing and accompanying the inhabitants, until today when the same music, the same songs and the same culture remain to resonate happily in traditional taverns throughout Zakynthos. From the time when the love confession was made through notes under balconies and in the picturesque arches of the island, until today, when the love of the locals remains nestled in guitars and verses.

These people composed the "Ionian Music School", whose modern representatives participate in the documentary through their own testimonies, memories and comments, reinforcing the undeniably lively musical tradition, which remains proud to breathe among everything modern.
