eorge Kourgiannidis was born in Serres and lived his childhood in many cities in Greece such as Axioupoli, Thessaloniki, Xanthi, Leros and Tripoli.

He studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and at the Military Medical School (SSAS).

He is a Cardiologist Arrhythmiologist. He trained in Cardiology and Arrhythmology at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center and did postgraduate training in Electrophysiology in Belgium.

He has been working in the field of cinema since 1998, in fields such as music editing, screenwriting and co-production of films and documentaries.
