Summary

The documentary touches upon the actual problem in Greece during the times of the economic crisis (2009 -2018): depression - melancholy, "black bile" according to Hippocrates. Patients of all ages describe their personal experiences, reflecting the abstract concept of Melancholia. Doctors, nursing and scientific personnel of the Dromokaite and the Mental Health Centers of Korydallos and Keratsini present their daily lives, caring for patients, and also about the fact that they themselves are experiencing an economic crisis in their lives. Finally, patients who are treated, talk about their experiences. This is a new consciousness that is gradually built up with the help of everyone: a patient, medical staff, family, old or new friends in mental health centers.
