Summary

Our senses are limited. Our senses are deceptive. This is the incipit of POST TRUTH, docufilm for the web that starting from the definition of the increasingly discussed phenomenon of "POST VERITA 'and 'Fake News', wants to investigate the Mass Media and their mechanics. Under the flow of repertoire images, POST-TRUTH leads us in a meticulous and irreverent analysis on the current media system, on the logic and the balances that regulate it, on the effects produced in our society and on our role which now are always more relegated to the role of information consumer. Together with a bizarre blogger, a pair of street acrobats and a former Sputnik journalist, the docufilm tries to explain about the hardly filled distances that stand between the viewer and the news, and to do so in a clear, simple and even fun way. If, as Jurgen Habermas claims, the media replaced the Public Sphere in the interpretation of reality and if it is true that those who own the media also have the meaning owning, as stated by Noam Chomsky, the only possibility to investigate the truth seems to accept first of all that we can not trust ourselves first and foremost of our perception.
