Summary
The documentary investigates through analyses, testimonies and documents, "Why" forests, villages, animals and crops were left to burn in North Evia in August 2021, what the government and companies are preparing for the region as well as when this planning was ready. Forests, animals, villages, crops, a lifetime's work were left to their fate and turned to ashes by a government that evicted residents from their villages while never taking care of forest protection or firefighting. On the contrary, it plans investments with new land uses, in the name of "development" and "reconstruction".
