Summary

Nearchus, the son of Androtimos, from Crete was a childhood friend of Alexander the Great whom he followed in his great campaign in Asia. But he is better known than the famous Indian patrol. The documentary on the occasion of the commemorations of the birthplace of Nearchus and based mainly on the descriptions of Plutarch, Arrian and Strabo describes the life and work of the great admiral of M. Alexander.
