Summary

"Imperative" consists of 12 sections, one for each month. The focus is on the seasonal changes in nature and the urban landscape, fragmentary but not random. The haikus and the musics, on the occasion of these impressions of the ephemeral, comment on the imperativeness of perpetual movement. The goal is not the eternal truth, but a fleeting version of it.

The film is based on the 12 haiku poem by Giorgos Theoharis
