CROSSING THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL RHODOPE RANGE

Summary
This is the mountain hiking crossing of the whole Prefecture of Xanthi by a group of 9 hikers - climbers. The route passes through 5 Municipalities, 3 Prefectures (Xanthi, Drama and Rodopi) and two countries (Greece Bulgaria). Also during the route the hikers passed through 15 settlements, 15 peaks, 3 stone bridges, 2 rivers (Nesto and Kompsato), 1 waterfall (known as Livaditis) and the Thermal Baths of Kato Therma. They walked in 7 days 170 kilometers (105 miles) with 8747 altitudes (uphill) and 8,046 meters downhill. The route shown in the film took place in the summer of 2020 and continues until this year, which will take place for the 6th consecutive year in the summer of 2022.
